[May 16, 2016 – Chandler, AZ] Arizona Myeloma Network, one of the country’s top-rated nonprofits by Great Nonprofits is hosting its popular Out Race Cancer© Charity Fundraiser Timed 5K and 1M Family fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 4th. Barbara Kavanagh, Founder, President and CEO said, “We believe no cancer caregiver or cancer patient should have to pay to learn about cancer. That is why our Out Race Cancer© fundraiser is critical to raising cancer awareness and funds”.
In Arizona there are over 27,000 new cancer incidences reported annually, according to the National Center Institute CDC State Cancer Profile. Mrs. Kavanagh states, “Out Race Cancer© is a great opportunity for everyone to help raise awareness and support for ALL cancer caregivers and cancer patients.” Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in the event, which takes place at the Bondurant Racing School at 20000 S. Maricopa Rd, Gate #3 in Chandler. Proceeds from Out Race Cancer© benefits the Arizona Myeloma Network's Cancer Education and Advocacy programs delivered free to the public.
