[May 25, 2016 – Chandler, AZ] Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers have committed to supporting Arizona Myeloma Networks’ Out Race Cancer Charity Fundraiser. This event serves to raise funds to bring educational programs free of charge to cancer patients and their caregivers. The Arizona Myeloma Network has also partnered with area cancer clinics and research centers to provide an annual CME accredited, medical roundtable, consisting of national level speakers presenting the latest in myeloma research.
Dr. Jason Salganick, MD, one of the Board Certified Medical Oncologists with Ironwood states, "Ironwood Cancer Center has a commitment to the community to provide top quality cancer care. Several of our physicians have taken the lead in fighting Myeloma and other cancers, bringing clinical trials to the region, speaking to Myeloma focus groups and educating patients and families in connection with the Arizona Myeloma Network. We are proud to partner with this unique organization!"
"We appreciate the wonderful services and patient support that Ironwood Cancer Centers provides at all of their offices. It makes such a difference to us to be able to call Dr. Salganick and his colleagues when we know a cancer patient needs help or refer their family for assistance with insurance or other health concerns", says Barbara Kavanagh, Founder of the Arizona Myeloma Network, and caregiver to her husband, a 25-year myeloma survivor.
